Presentation Practice!
7 Ways to Make Your Presentation Fantastic:
1) Create a headline - It gives your audience a reason to listen.
"Good morning. Thanks for coming. I know you'll be really excited about this. Today, I'll talk to you about ...."
2) Provide an Outline - Make it easy for your listeners to follow your story.
And open and close each section with a clear Transition
3) Show enthusiasm - 'Wow' your audience.
Don't be stiff and formal. Your listeners are giving you permission to have fun and be excited. If you're not passionate, we're not going to be.
4) Make numbers and statistics meaningful - For example: "The population of China is 1.3 billion. That's more than 100 UAEs"
5) Make is visual - paint a simple picture. Very little text. One picture per slide.
Give them a show. Demonstrations? Guests?
Identify your memorable moment and build up to it.
6) Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse.
7) "And one more thing...."
